USACE-SAV is conducting market research to identify qualified and capable sources for an anticipated Geotechnical Laboratory Testing requirement. This questionnaire is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), or commitment by the Government. Participation is strictly voluntary. Responses will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy, including potential set‑asides.
The purpose of this questionnaire is to collect capability information from firms interested in providing geotechnical laboratory testing services, including but not limited to:
- Soil classification testing
- Aggregate testing
- Concrete and asphalt testing
- Compaction, permeability, and consolidation testing
- Chemical and physical property analysis
Due to sample transport requirements, turnaround times, and project support needs, only firms located within a 50‑mile radius of both Atlanta, GA and Savannah, GA will be considered capable for this market research effort. Respondents must provide:
- Physical address of laboratory facility
- Confirmation that the facility is within the required 50‑mile radius
This questionnaire is issued solely for market research. It does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with responding.
