US-40 West Trail Connection

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of “US-40 West Trail Connection” will be received by the OWNER via Bidnet Direct at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/cityofsteamboatsprings , until 1:00 P.M. prevailing time on March 12, 2026, and then will be read aloud at a virtual meeting to immediately follow. Late bids and bids delivered by any means other than Bidnet Direct will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened.

The work consists of the construction of concrete sidewalk and concrete core trail from Snow Bowl Plaza west to Sleepy Bear Mobile Home Park. This project includes the construction of a pedestrian underpass at US Highway mile post 129.4. The project area is located in west Steamboat Springs and is on both the north and south sides of US Highway 40. The work includes structure excavation and backfill, reinforced concrete, retaining walls, storm sewer, new water line installation, guardrail, and lighting/electrical. Phased construction will be required to maintain traffic through the project construction zone throughout the duration of the project.
