The City of Urbandale announces the availability of plans and specifications for the following public improvement project:

Project: Fire Station 42 Interior Renovation

Project No.: 2025-P002

Estimate: $320,000

The Fire Station 42 Interior Renovation shall include:

  • Battalion Chief office and quarters
  • Station Lieutenant office and quarters
  • Renovation of main office
  • Associated electrical, plumbing and controls

Pre-Bid meeting, Tuesday, November 25, 2025. 9:00 AM, 3927 121st Street

Bid Date: Wednesday, 1:30 PM, December 10, 2025, 3600 86th Street.

Completion Date: June 1, 2026

Copies of the plans and contract documents will be available online on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from the City of Urbandale website, under the Department of Engineering and Public Works, Projects Out to Bid, at http://www.urbandale.org/185/Projects-Out-to-Bid.
