BID CALL:

The Town of Normal will receive sealed proposals for the following:

Uptown Station Emergency Circuit Conversion

Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Uptown Station Emergency Circuit Conversion" with the time and date of the opening, which will be July 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall. Any questions regarding this bid will be addressed at a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held on July 2, 2026 at 10:00 am at the project site. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening. All questions after the pre-bid shall be addressed to the Architect of record and must be received no later than 3:00 pm prevailing time on July 3, 2026.

State statutes and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job. Bid Forms and Specifications may be obtained from the Town Clerk, 11 Uptown Circle Avenue, Normal, Illinois 61761 or downloaded from the Town’s website, www.normalil.gov. The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedures. The bid award will be made by the Town Council

and their decision will be final.
