Upper Pottsgrove Township New Municipal Complex

Project Description: The Upper Pottsgrove Township will receive sealed bids for the construction of a New Municipal Complex to be located at 2290 Gilbertsville Road, Pottstown, PA 19464. Work includes Site Construction, General Construction, Plumbing Construction, Mechanical Construction, and Electrical Construction. Drawings will be made available on PennBid by end of day March 31,2025
Sealed bids will be received online via the PennBid Program until 2:00PM. prevailing time, Thursday May 22. 2025, at which time they will be opened. After bid opening the results will be available for viewing on the PennBid website. Successful bidder will be selected by Owner at a later date. No bid may be withdrawn after the due date and time or within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening. Upper Pottsgrove Township reserves the right at its option to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all of Bids and to reject all Bids if it is in the best interest of the Upper Pottsgrove Township.
Questions will be accepted until 5:00 P.M., prevailing time, Monday May 12, 2025; questions will be accepted through PennBid, only from prime bidders. All questions must be submitted through PennBid and will not be accepted in any other manner. A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the township building at 11:00am on Tuesday April 22, 2025 Should additional site visits be requested, the township will provide a date/time for contractors to walk the property; this will be determined at the pre-bid conference.

The apparent low bidder and the next two lowest bidders must submit, to the Construction Manager , originals of the Bidding Documents within two (2) business days from the date of the bid opening, Including an SOV for their work and all other required documents from the Construction Manager.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid and all other documents in the checklist. Performance Bond and a Labor Material and Payment Bond will be required from the lowest responsible bidders at a later date along with all other required documentation. This project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
