The Houston Public Library is seeking for upholstery cleaning services at 24
library locations.
A. Vacuum all cloth-upholstered furniture and rugs, including under and between cushions.
B. Clean upholstered furniture with an approved spot cleaner and detergent to remove soil that cannot be removed
by vacuuming.
C. Clean synthetic-covered furniture with vinyl cleaner.
D. Upon cleaning upholstery, a fabric protector and deodorizer will be applied to all upholstered furniture.
E. Upholstery cleaning to be cleaned on site during normal business hours while the location is closed to the public
(unless otherwise noted).
F. All work should be completed by June 21, 2025.
