Upgrades to Boundary-Rafferty Control Structure
Synopsis:

The scope of the work is to provide contracting services to:
a) Supply and install handrail, vehicle gates, and chain link security fencing
b) Supply and install public safety signage
c) Supply and install rip rap, rip rap bedding, and complete other earthworks-related improvements both upstream, downstream, and on the embankment structure
a. Including Care of Water to isolate downstream earthworks from any water in the channel
d) Complete work to modify and extend downstream wing walls
e) Supply and install new miscellaneous steel work for new
a. Bulkheads
b. Bulkhead lifting superstructure (including rigging and electric hoists)
c. Upstream walkway
f) Supply and install electrical upgrades

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels
