UPFITTING FOR NEW BELL 407GXi HELICOPTER

The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide upfitting for a Bell 407 GXi Helicopter previously purchased by the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. The new Helicopter has an anticipated delivery date of 1/1/2026. The Helicopter will be used in emergency operations in Rockland County by the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. It is anticipated that this RFP may result in a contract award to “a single contractor”. The helicopter will be FAA certified as a normal category helicopter, and all accessories (including avionics and mission equipment) will be installed to meet mission specifications including be FAA approved by STC or under an FAA “337” field approval.
