UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority (CWVRAA) is notifying the contracting community of an upcoming construction contract opportunity at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW).  CWVRAA plans to install an electric charging station for electric aircraft. BETA Technologies will be providing the charging cube, mini charging cube, power tower and panel board. All electrical items will be installed on concrete pads. The contractor will be responsible for connecting the equipment provided by BETA.

1. Temporary construction items (including temporary AOA fence)
2. Erosion and sediment control devices
3. Removal of existing pavement and general site clearing
4. Excavation and Topsoil Stockpiling
5. Installation of concrete pads
6. Installation of ductbanks and other electrical items (including connections to items provided by BETA).
7. Restoration of the site

1. Advertisement Date: Monday May 18, 2026
2. Pre-Bid Meeting: Tuesday May 26, 2026
3. Bid Due Date: Monday June 15, 2026

Notice to Proceed will be issued upon execution of the Contract and approval of the Coalfield Development Corporation, which is providing grant funding for this project. Federal grant funding requirements will apply. The current anticipated construction duration is 60 Consecutive Calendar Days.
