Description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) is proposing to use an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process as the project delivery method for additional student housing at UCalgary’s main campus. UCalgary currently has 3,000 beds for student housing, all located on main campus. Due to increasing demand for student housing UCalgary is contemplating two new student residence buildings; one traditional dormitory style for first-year students (approximately 650 beds) and one apartment style for upper-year/graduate students (approximately 650 beds) Final decisions on construction of the buildings will be subject to approvals through university governance processes.
