The City of Ames is accepting bids from qualified vendors to replace the station batteries for Unit 8, which includes replacing the batteries, spill containment system, and several battery accessories such as the nameplate, warning labels, intercell connecting straps, thermometer at the Power Plant for the Electric Department.
Prospective bidders may visit the site prior to submitting a bid by contacting Sam Feucht at sam.feucht@cityofames.org.
All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed.
No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
