Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Rewrite RFP

Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Rewrite RFP Submission deadline has been extended to February 24, 2025, at 4:00PM EST.

The Town of Wendell, North Carolina seeks a well- qualified consulting team/firm to comprehensively update and modernize the Town’s Unified Development Ordinances (UDO). This update must concentrate on streamlining the Town’s land use and development process while providing continuity to Blueprint Wendell 2030 (the Comprehensive Plan) and clarity to the community.

An optional virtual Pre-Proposal meeting will be held on Friday, January 10th, 2025, to be held at Wendell Town Hall (409 Landing View Drive, Wendell, NC  27591) at 1:00PM EST.

Questions must be sent in writing via email to Stacy Griffin, Assistant Planning Director, at sgriffin@townofwendellnc.gov , with the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) RFP# 2025-10 mentioned in the subject line. All questions must be submitted by Friday, January 10, 2025, by 4:00 PM EST. Answers will be provided via an addendum posted on the Town’s website, https://www.townofwendellnc.gov/departments/finance/bids_and_proposals.php no later than Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 5:00PM EST.

The Town must receive all proposals on or before 4:00 p.m. EST, January 24, 2025. Late proposals will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The proposals must be sealed and prominently marked on the outside envelope with the RFP number, title, due date, time, and proposer's name.
