The New York Power Authority is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified firms, registered with FINRA and/or SEC, to serve as Senior Managing Underwriters, Co-Managing Underwriters and Selling Group Members in connection with the proposed future issuance of bonds by NYPA. It is intended that through this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”), one or more firms that are qualified underwriters will be selected for inclusion on NYPA’s Qualified Underwriter List (“List”). NYPA expects to sell bond issues through General Resolution Senior Revenue Bond Program and Subordinate Revenue Bond Program and Transmission Bond Resolution (Separately Finance Projects Program) during the term of this engagement. Firms included on the List may also be used for other financings that may be undertaken by NYPA during the engagement period.

PROPOSERS ARE HEREBY DIRECTED TO THE NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY’S WEB SITE AT WWW.NYPA.GOV TO OBTAIN INSTRUCTION ON PARTICIPATING IN THE QUALIFICATION PROCESS. PROPOSERS OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN THE AUTHORITY’S WEB SITE AT WWW.NYPA.GOV DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. INCOMPLETE PROPOSAL RESPONSES MAY BE REJECTED BY THE AUTHORITY.
