The portable speed monitors must be quick and easy to deploy with a one man system, have radar-based technology equipped that will provide reliable data to support traffic management and security enforcement activities. The speed carts must also be equipped with an LED display to show vehicle speeds in real time along with an option for customizable messaging display to enhance communication. The trailers must be built with a robust steel frame and weather-resistant coatings for long-term outdoor use along with taillights and DOT-approved lighting and reflective tape. The units must have solar panel configuration to allow long-term operation independent of external power sources. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY – The Government is requesting information to provide Portable Speed Monitors and Associated Components according to the Salient Characteristics.
