Purpose of Solicitation:
The purpose of this Request For Proposals (RFP) solicitation is to enter into a contract with a qualified supplier to provide: FrontRunner Train Sets.
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) (collectively the "Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to solicit Proposals from commuter rail vehicle manufacturers to design, manufacture, test, furnish, deliver, and performance test [10] diesel multiple units (DMUs) as a base and up to quantities of [40 DMUs] in options as part of the Department’s Frontrunner 2X project
It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a SINGLE CONTRACT AWARD to the responsive and responsible vendor with the Highest Combined Technical and Cost Score as justified by the Utah Procurement Code, Administrative Rules, and solicitation requirements.
