This Invitation for Bids "IFB" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence.
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide UDOT Region 3 Eastern Basin Provide Base Coarse for UDOT Pick Up. Bidders located in the County outlined in cost sheet Attachment C.
UDOT 2025 Standard Specifications section 02721 – Untreated Base Course (UTBC), Part 2 (Products) applies to the material that is being supplied under this contract. Specifications are attached in the document section.
This contract may result in a multiple 5 year contracts for each County see Cost sheet Attachment C.
Contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder with a pick up point in the County that is being awarded. If multiple bids are received award will be given to the lowest bidder.
If no bidders pit is located in county UDOT will determine which pit is the closes or will be the most cost effective for pick up.
Issuing Procurement Unit, Conducting Procurement Unit, and Solicitation Number
The UDOT Procurement Services Division is the issuing procurement unit and Region 1 is the conducting procurement unit for this IFB (referred to as “the State”). The reference number for this IFB is Solicitation #UDOT260219CN. This solicitation number must be referred to on all bids, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the State relating to this IFB.
The documents included within this solicitation are intended to provide interested bidders with sufficient information to enable the bidder to determine if they can provide as per the outlined requirements.
Bidders must provide sufficient documentation/information to demonstrate compliance with the stated specifications/requirements.
