SUBJECT: U.S. Navy Naval Station Mayport - Maintenance Dredging, Duval County, Florida SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912EP25B0008 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project work consists of maintenance dredging of portions of the U.S. Naval Station Mayport including Bar Cut-3. Mayport Entrance Channel, Turning Basin, Destroyer Basin, and Small Boat Basin. Excavated material will be transported to and disposed in the Jacksonville Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) Release Zone ?A?. Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and sea turtle trawling. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued on 17 January 2025, and bids will be due on 20 February 2024 by 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). A pre-bid conference will take place on Friday January 31, 2025, at 10:00AM EST through Webex https://usace1.webex.com/meet/anelis.i.nazario-castillo. NAICS Code is: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities exception. The Small Business Standard is $37 million. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and 25,000,000.00. The expected period of performance associated with this requirement is: 200 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the NTP.THIS REQUIREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED; All responsible bidders are encouraged to participate.
