Details the requirements for providing moving and transportation logistics services, including the disassembly, packing, and loading and unloading of both functional and non-functional furniture and equipment from Buildings 215, 701, 702 and 1142, 81400 and Metro Park. Ensure that all equipment placed inside a box is collectively inventoried, and that the box is labeled on the outside with a description of the item and its serial number. The items shall be transported to Fort Gordon GA, Bldg. 81400 and Metro Park VA, roll-off dumpsters, or approved disposal sites. Specifically, serviceable furniture is to be delivered to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Richmond, VA for disposal. Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) will be available to escort personnel during the move, handle turn-in documentation, and coordinate the transportation of unserviceable equipment designated for turn-in at the Fort Belvoir Supply Support Activity (SSA).
The contractor must adhere to all security and entrance requirements established by Fort Belvoir. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that all employees meet the installation's access criteria before beginning work on-site. A physically signed Physical Security Form 190-6 must be submitted for each employee requiring access, along with a valid identification, no later than ten calendar days prior to their arrival at the installation
