The City of Muscatine is soliciting bids from qualified ambulance dealers for the purchase of a new, 2026 Type I Ford F450 4x4 6.7L diesel ambulance, as described herein. Each bid document shall be accompanied by a detailed description of the vehicle the bidder proposes to provide. It will be to each bidder’s advantage to provide as much information as practical to assist those responsible for determining to which dealer a contract will be awarded in making that decision.


Included in the bid document must be an approximate date of delivery, presuming the signing of the contract on or before Tuesday, June 30, 2026. All bid documents must be attached within the Ionwave online bidding system.
The City is also interested in a prepayment option.
Timeline is as follows:
  • Bids are due, via Ionwave, by 12 PM Thursday, June 18
  • Questions may be submitted until 12 PM Wednesday, June 16
  • Bids will be taken to City Council for approval on Tuesday, June 23
