Description

The US Forest Service intends to solicit and award a contract for Thirteen (13) 4X2 Med-Heavy cab and chassis, 33,000 GVWR; three (3) 4X4 Med-Heavy cab and chassis, 37,000 GVWR. Sixteen (16) cab and chassis total apparatuses, per USDA Forest Service national standard specifications issued March 2023(c). The contract award will include Thirteen (13) 4X2 Med-Heavy cab and chassis, 33,000 GVWR; three (3) 4X4 Med-Heavy cab and chassis, 37,000 GVWR. Sixteen (16) cab and chassis total, operational training, and delivery to various locations within Arizona, and California. The contract will be in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.1 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract award will be a 100% Total Small Business Set – aside, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated date of solicitation will be approximately 15 business days after the date of this posted pre-solicitation. The anticipated delivery date of the type 3 fire apparatuses, according to USDA Forest Service Specification will be before or on 24 months from the date of receipt of first Government-furnished chassis.
