Tyonek - Water Distribution System Replacement Project

Project Description: The Project includes phased construction of domestic water system improvements as the following:
Phase 1: Work of this Phase includes installation of approximately 2,200 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch arctic high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe to replace the existing 8-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main in the Indian Creek Subdivision (ICS), new hydrant assemblies, replacement of twenty-four (24) copper water services with jacketed insulated PEX pipe services with buried curb stops. Services will include electrical heat trace and home electrical connections with new circuit breaker.
Phase 2: Work of this Phase includes installation of approximately 1,800 LF of 8-inch arctic HDPE transmission main from the ICS to Lower Village distribution main, installing new pressure pumps, pipe connections, pressure switches and control panel in the water treatment plant.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, testing, and incidentals to complete all Work for each Phase required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings.
Anticipated Schedule:
The Project has an expected substantial completion date of September 30, 2027 and final completion date of October 31, 2027.
Award Statement:
Award will be for either Phase 1 or Phase 2, whichever phase is within the available funding. ANTHC anticipates having funding available for a single phase; however, it reserves the right to award both phases should additional funding become available within the Bid Acceptance Period.
