22-25-1009 two(2) Fives Giddings & Lewis PT 1500 Plain Table CNC Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM) with Integrated Contouring Heads (ICH)

DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a sole source solicitation to procure two(2) Fives Giddings & Lewis PT 1500 Plain Table CNC Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM) with Integrated Contouring Heads (ICH) with contract completion required in 406 days after award.

Complete technical data package VIBB 22-25-1009 including all technical data, tooling, removal of equipment, installation, foundation, training, shipping, OSHA machine certification, and IUID requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.

Request for Proposal SPE4A8-25-R-0009 is intended to be issued around 10 July 2025 and close around 10 August 2025.

FOB will be at Destination. Inspection at Origin/Acceptance at Destination.

This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue the contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.

Award shall result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract.

This solicitation and award will be made under FAR 13.5 procedures.
