Turf Maintenance Services

The City of Saskatoon is seeking a Contractor to provide turf maintenance services adjacent to Expressways, Arterials, Collectors, and Urban Highway Connectors (UHC). The services include litter control, mowing, trimming, weed removal, and removal of voluntary tree growth across approximately 448.7 hectares of greenspace along expressway corridors.

The contracted area includes all turf areas, centre medians, roadway flankages, ditches, traffic islands, etc. All sign bases, posts, utility boxes, light standards, guardrails, trees, shrub edges, and any other abutments are to be neatly trimmed as part of each mowing cycle. Any concrete overpass abutments, guardrails, sound walls, and chain-link fences must be neatly kept, free of weeds, and have volunteer trees removed upon request.
