    This Addendum is issued in accordance with the IFB Terms & Conditions and is intended to provide
    additional information and clarification to Respondents.
    This Addendum consists of one (1) item which is listed below and are an integral part of the IFB to which
    it is attached and is incorporated therein and made part thereof by this reference.
    Item 1 – Questions
    1. Does a new temporary anchor trench need to be installed on the southern most limits of cell
    1 cap removal shown on sheet 4? This footage is approximately 227 LF.
    ANSWER: No, the remaining cap is to be dressed per Note 1 on Detail 3, Drawing 17.
    2. Profile sheet 8 calls for 2 EA air release valves to be installed on the forcemain, however no
    detail has been provided. Can a detail or specification be provided for these fixtures?
    ANSWER: Per Note 4 of Detail 1 on Drawing 8, provide a Bermad Series C50 (C50-P is
    adequate) air release valve. Use a flanged tee to connect the valve to the force main. The
    valve is to be set below grade in a utility box (Note 5).
    3. Is there a manufacturer or model number for the two 3” PVC automatic air release valves
    that are shown on detail 4 sheet 12?
    ANSWER: To be consistent with the slope riser pump stations at existing cells (e.g., Cells
    IIA), install 4” air release valves (Bermad Series C50) on the top of the vertical force main
    pipe with a flanged tee (at location 10 on Detail 2, Drawing 12).
    Respondents shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum with Bid submission.
