Truancy Diversion Program - Tier 2

Project Description: Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth (OCY) requests proposals from organizations interested in providing Truancy Diversion services to families and children, age five (5) through eighteen (18) years who are experiencing truancy. Proposals from multiple providers will be selected. The organizations selected will be contracted to provide services to divert formal involvement with the OCY and will utilize an established outcomes informed program for delivery of service. The organization(s) selected will have experience and knowledge of Montgomery County, dynamics of families and youth who experience truancy, and established relationships with school districts, Magisterial District Judges as well as local community service organizations. Services will begin at the start of the 2026 - 2027 academic year.
