Project Description: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) requests proposals from professional engineering firms to perform Trip Generation Rate Studies for the five land uses listed in the scope, utilizing the methods recommended in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Trip Generation Handbook, third Edition. These studies will develop localized peak-hour and 24-hour trip generation rates for application to traffic impact analyses and traffic studies in the MSB. These rates will augment, or in some cases replace, rates found in the ITE Trip Generation Manual.
