Trikafta Tablets - All Strengths & Package Sizes

The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) is looking to procure all strengths and package sizes of Trikafta tablets. The medication will be ordered as needed by medical units at DOCCS Correctional Facilities located throughout New York State and provided to incarcerated individuals within their care. The medication will be prescribed and administered by DOCCS prescribers and medical staff who are required to be compliant with any Risk, Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) requirements for any REMS classified medications.

The awarded Contractor must be an authorized pharmacy or distributor of the branded products. Products supplied under this agreement must be authentic, new and cannot be obtained from secondary sources of supply.

All bids must be FOB Destination (shipping charges are incurred by the Contractor) and deliveries are to be made promptly to the DOCCS Correctional Facility placing the order. If a delay in shipping occurs, it is the Contractor’s obligation to notify the ordering DOCCS Correctional Facility and DOCCS Central Pharmacy Services.

Price shall be WAC (Wholesale Acquisition Cost) at the time of order plus or minus the discount percentage bid. The price shall never exceed the Average Wholesale Price (AWP) as listed in Wolters Kluwer Medi-Span Price Rx when purchased.

Should a generic equivalent become available during the contract period, the Contractor will be expected to provide the generic at the same or greater discount. All generics must be AB rated and chemically identical or bioequivalent as defined by the FDA Orange Book.

A valid electronic prescription will be transmitted from a licensed prescriber at DOCCS to the contracted pharmacist/pharmacy. The awarded Contractor must fill all prescriptions with the most cost-effective option, unless otherwise indicated by the prescriber, such as through the use of a Dispense as Written (DAW) order.

Quantities are estimated only for the three-year contract term, with no guarantees, and there is no obligation on the part of DOCCS to purchase any specified quantities.
