Tree Trimming Services for Power Line Clearance

CONCORD MUNICIPAL LIGHT PLANT CONCORD, MASSACHUSETTS

The Concord Municipal Light Plant hereby invites bidders to submit sealed bids for providing Tree Trimming Services for Power Line Clearance throughout the Concord Municipal Light Plant territory. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, at the Light Plant Office, 1175 Elm Street, PO Box 1029, Concord, Massachusetts 01742-1029 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read.  Bids received after the time of announced opening will not be accepted.

Please note that overnight delivery services must use the street address; deliveries by United States Postal Service must use the post office box and ensure that delivery is made prior to the 2 PM deadline. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “CMLP Bid #25-3008– Tree Trimming Services for Power Line Clearance” in the lower left hand front corner of the bidder’s envelope.

Specifications can be obtained on or after December 12th, 2024, at the Concord Municipal Light Plant, 1175 Elm Street, Concord MA 01742, by person, mail, or electronically by contacting Joe Repoff, Assistant Director, at 978-318- 3101 or

Bidders shall note that no less than the prevailing wage rates as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on this Project. Attention is also called to the requirements relating to Workman's Compensation, Conditions of Employment, and the Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti-Discrimination, Affirmative Action Programs. The Town of Concord reserves the right to waive irregularities, informalities, and to reject any and all bids as may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Light Plant.
