The Town of Douglas reserves the right to reject any and all bids in the best interest of the Town. Wage rates are subject to M.G.L., Ch. 149, S 26-260 inclusive, along with a minority employee percentage rate of not less than 5%.
Bids should be sealed and clearly marked in the lower left hand corner with “Tree Removal.” All bids for the Town of Douglas, Highway Department will be received by the Executive Administrator, Town of Douglas, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA 01516, until 10 AM, December 17, 2025, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read.

Special Requirements:
|
• Minimum seventy two foot aerial lift (2 section w/ elevator), with operator and including full complement of power saws, hydraulic stick saw, blower, hand tools and other equipment necessary for ordinary tree care and removal operations.
• 15” diesel powered brush chipper w/ winch
• 10 or more cubic yard chip/dump truck w/ ground man
• Skid Steer w/ grapple
• Minimum liability insurance coverage – One million dollars per day
