PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that sealed bids shall be received in the Borough Council Chambers of the

Borough of Pompton Lakes Municipal Building, 25 Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, N.J. 07442, on

Tuesday November 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. for the following goods and services:

TREE AND STUMP GRINDING SERVICES

All bids must follow the proposal form and the specifications and instructions to Bidders, which are

on file and may be obtained from the Office of the Borough Administrator, Borough of Pompton Lakes,

25 Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, N.J. 07442.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and plainly

marked to indicate the subject of the bid, and addressed to the Borough Administrator’s Office.

The bids will be publicly opened and read at the time and place first set forth in this notice. All bids

must be submitted on the Bid Proposal Form, and must conform to the specifications, terms, and

conditions for a fair and open contract, all of which are contained herein.

Specifications and forms of the bid are available for inspection in the Office of the Borough Clerk, 25

Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, N.J. 07442 and may be inspected by prospective bidders during

regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Copies may be pickup up

personally from the Clerk’s office at no charge. Interested bidders requesting specifications by mail

will be furnished with a copy of the bid specifications after they have paid a ten ($10.00) dollar fee to

defray the cost of preparation, postage, and handling. We cannot honor requests for specifications for

which payment has not been received.

Bidders must review the bid specifications for any applicable bonding requirements.

Bidders must have any and all required approvals, qualifications, certifications, and/or licenses

necessary to perform the services or provide the products as contained in the bid specifications.

Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10: 5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Other requirements

as well as these described above are fully detailed in the bid documents.

The Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Pompton Lakes, in the County of Passaic, and State

of New Jersey reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, waive informalities therein,

and to award the bid in the best interest of the Borough.
