TREE REMOVAL SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Town Clerk of the Town of Bedford will receive sealed bids for tree removal services (including t ree removal / stump grinding , branch removal and tree thinning.) Bids will be received until 10:00 am, May 22, 2025 at the office of the Town Clerk, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, New York 10507, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.

Specifications and proposal forms may be downloaded on the Town of Bedford’s website ( https://bedfordny.gov/Bids.aspx ) from May 5, 2025 to May 22, 2025 . Vendors that download the specifications are required to provide their company name, email address, phone number, and mailing address by email to For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. with the subject tree bid in order to receive any bid addenda that may be issued.

Bid prices shall remain in effect from June 1, 2025 through June 1, 2026. The contract period may be extended with the written consent of both parties for up to four more consecutive one year periods (i.e. up to June 1, 2030), with a seasonal price increase based on the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), with a maximum of 3%.  If the contract is extended, in each succeeding year beginning, contractor shall receive an adjustment to the bid prices above equal to the CPI as published by the United States Department of Labor for the Northeastern Section of United States, with a maximum of 3%..  The increase will be based upon the April reported figures for each year.

The Town of Bedford reserves the right to accept any bid in whole or in part and to reject any or all bids, as considered to be in the best interests of the Town of Bedford. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked “Bids for Tree Removal Services — May 22, 2025” on the outside of the envelope.
