TheWest Dante Site is located off State Route 627, 0.9 miles west-northwest of Dante. The area is completely within the St. Paul,VA USGS quadrangle. The approximate project center coordinates are 36° 58â 48.89â N, 82° 18â 34.57â W. The site isreclaimed abandoned mine lands with typical slopes of 2:1. Soil conditions vary from shallow rocky soils to looseuncompacted material
