The work to be performed under the terms of this Specification consists of planting trees on the site known as the 2025 TREEPLANTING PROJECT â WEST DANTE SITE in RUSSELL COUNTY, Virginia, for the Commonwealth of Virginia. TheWest Dante Site is located off State Route 627, 0.9 miles west-northwest of Dante. The area is completely within the St. Paul,VA USGS quadrangle. The approximate project center coordinates are 36° 58â 48.89â N, 82° 18â 34.57â W. The site isreclaimed abandoned mine lands with typical slopes of 2:1. Soil conditions vary from shallow rocky soils to looseuncompacted material
