Tree Planting and Mulching for Parkways and Private Property

The City of Darien, Illinois will receive sealed bids until 9:30am on the 4th day of June 2025, at the Office of the City of Darien, 1702 Plainfield Road, Darien, Illinois 60561, for Tree Planting and Mulching for Parkways within the City of Darien and Tree Planting and Mulching for private properties - Unit Pricing. All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud on said date and time at the City Hall, 1702 Plainfield Road, Darien, Illinois 60561, before the Municipal Services Director or his designee.
The specifications are on file and available for inspection and copies will be available at the City and online at the City’s website www.darien.il.us .
No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bid without the consent of the City for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening and reading bids.
The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to waive any informalities, technicalities and irregularities in bidding and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional bids.
The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of all State of Illinois and federal laws concerning public works projects as well as the State of Illinois Human Rights Act and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission.

This contract does not require prevailing wages.
