Trash Service

The City of Nixa is accepting proposals for a five year contract with a qualified solid waste disposal provider to function as the City’s approved waste disposal contractor as provided for in Chapter 22, Article V of the Nixa City Code. The City’s approved waste disposal contractor is responsible for collecting all residential trash and solid waste within the city limits of Nixa, MO and providing a residential curb-side recycling program. Residential service is defined as providing solid waste disposal services to every occupant of every dwelling unit.

The City highly encourages electronic submissions via this online bidding system as it expedites the process and helps to alleviate errors.

Paper bids will still be accepted. All bid content must be in a sealed envelope. Bids must be delivered by the stated close date and time. NO EMAILED OR FAXED bids will be accepted.

All quantities listed in this bid are estimated and can be changed +/- upon ordering.
