Trash Receptacles Services

The city is seeking bids for servicing a number of trash receptables along public right-of-way locations:

• Main Street - 2nd Ave to 32nd: Sixty 55 gallon receptacles
• Joplin Avenue - 2nd Street to 6th Street: Six 55 gallon receptacles
• Joplin City Hall Parking Lot/602 S. Main: Ten 55 gallon receptacles
• 600 Virginia Ave parking Lot: Three 55 gallon receptacles
• Transit Trolley Stops: Ten 15 gallon receptacles
• Health Department, 321 E 4th Street: One 55 gallon receptacle

Trash receptacles should be routinely checked and emptied at least twice weekly, as needed depending on use, and on call service after special events and activities.

Please provide an estimate of hours to complete a full trash emptying cycle for all receptacles. Potential contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials to service receptacles.

Additional receptacle maintenance may be requested; painting, minor repairs, etc. Please include an estimated hourly rate for materials and items.
