Trash Can Liners

This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is N OT a formal Request for Proposal (RFP).

Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is soliciting quotes for Trash Can Liners. Based on 2024–2025 expenditure data, the estimated total value of this RFQ is $62,557.00.

There are three (3) line items requiring quotes for Revolution brand trash bags. The district intends to remain with this brand and will not accept alternate products, as these items have been tested, proven reliable, and are currently meeting district needs. The line items include:

• Large Black Trash Bags

• Small Trash Bags

• Large Blue Trash Bags (Recycling)

Each line item must be quoted separately. BISD reserves the right to award one, multiple, or all line items to one or more vendors, at its sole discretion.

Quantities are estimated and based on purchases from the prior school year. BISD will place orders in smaller increments over a period of up to one (1) year to maintain appropriate inventory levels at the BISD Distribution Center.

BISD is a participating member of multiple purchasing cooperatives. Due to the estimated dollar amount, only vendors who are members of an approved cooperative will be considered. Vendors must clearly indicate the cooperative under which they are submitting their quote.

Award will be made based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:

• Lowest overall cost

• Ability to deliver items as orders are placed

• Ability to hold quoted pricing for one (1) year

• Order minimum requirements (if any)

• Any additional factors deemed to be in the best interest of BISD
