Transportation Services for Replacement of Four Bus Shelters 2025

The City of Dubuque Transportation Services Transit Division, hereinafter referred to as the Transit Division, is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified and experienced vendors, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and nonDBE women and minority-owned vendors, to provide services for the design phase, removal and disposal, and construction administration and inspections towards the replacement of the following four bus shelters within the city limits of Dubuque, Iowa:

• Bus Stop #1008 – Locust & 6 th St.

• Bus Stop #1018 – Main & 15 th St.

• Bus Stop #1048 – 1800 Elm St.

• Bus Stop #2052 – Jackson and 24 th St.

The Transit Division proposes the following improvements for the above-mentioned shelters:

• Solar-powered lighting system to illuminate space under bus shelter roof.

• Wall space to display route information.

o Route information cannot block the view of traffic.

• Trash receptacle to keep the area free of litter.
