Transportation and Disposal Service

The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed proposals for disposal (tipping fees) and transportation for our Solid Waste Transfer Site. Elbert County generates approximately 75 tons per day of MSW. The transfer site is open 5 days per week. The per ton fee should be inclusive of all transportation (must provide trailers) and disposal costs as well as fees imposed by federal, state and local governments, and must be disposed of in a state certified landfill facility. The proposal will be for one year with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms. The contract will begin July 1, 2026.
