The City of Tucson is requesting quotes from qualified firms for the purpose of establishing a Service Agreement to provide in-person training for City employees on an as-needed basis, as per the Scope of Services. The Contractor must be an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Accredited Training Provider under the Lead-Based Paint Activities Program. This training will contain all the elements required in various regulatory statutes to include, but not be limited to, Federal, State, and Municipal mandates.
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding will be utilized for the services under the resultant Contract. Therefore, the services under the resultant Contract are subject to the HUD terms and conditions which are included as attachments to this Solicitation and will be incorporated into the resultant Contract. These terms and conditions cannot be modified or negotiated. By submitting an Offer, the Offeror must agree to abide by the Federal terms and conditions included as attachments to this Solicitation.
The City Housing and Community Development (HCD) Department’s Lead Hazard Reduction and Healthy Homes Programs help make homes healthier and safer within the City of Tucson. In 2024, the City HCD Department was awarded the Lead Hazard Reduction Grant by HUD, Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH). The Lead Hazard Reduction Grant has a performance period of 48 months, meaning the grant funds are valid for use over a four-year period. The grant period ends February 15, 2029.
