The supplier will provide a new 2024 or 2025 15-inch capacity, drum style, trailer mounted, hand feed chipper with winch. The County does qualify for Canoe Procurement, Sourcewell, and Government of Alberta standing offer pricing.
The County expects all standard equipment plus optional features including:
•        Diesel engine with 160HP desired
•        Trailer with pintle hitch and required lights and signals meeting Alberta highway traffic standards.
•        10,000lb single axle desired
•        Winch to pull material up to the chipper. Preference for hydraulic
•        Jack stands for stability
•        Oversized drum (37”x18”) preferred for safer work operations
•        Minimum 32 CID hydraulic motor desired
•        360-degree discharge chute with chip deflector
•        Control panel with reverse feed
•        Standard lift cylinder for wheel adjustment
•        Solid feed tray with heavy duty rim
•        Operator safety package (if not standard)
