Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking a vendor to construct a second phase of a battlefield interpretation trail at Crampton's Gap/Gathland State Park near Burkittsville. The trail will be approximately 5,150 linear feet of new trail construction. The project includes trail development only - as the route ties together existing developed park areas there is no need for additional parking, sanitary facilities, or other related infrastructure. Trail is a natural surface singletrack for recreation and open for use primarily by pedestrians. Motorized use will not be permitted on the trail.
