Background

The Department of Public Works, Transportation Engineering Division is responsible for maintaining and upgrading approximately 1,500 traffic signal poles citywide as part of its capital improvement and ongoing maintenance programs. Traffic signal poles are required for new installations, system upgrades, safety improvements, and the replacement of aging or damaged infrastructure.
