Q1. Plan sheet 8007 has notes and details concerning "907-808-A003 Joint Repair Without
Epoxy". it would appear that Bid Item #390 includes the total quantity for this work., is
that correct? Plan sheet 8008 also has notes and details concerning "907-808-A003 Joint
Repair Without Epoxy" with different details. Could MDOT please confirm where this
work will be paid for?
A1. Both joint repair types will be paid under Pay Item No. 907-808-A003, Joint Repair
Without Epoxy.
Q2. Scope of Work Note 3 on Sheet 8003 says to replace the bearings at Bents 1,9,5 & 13. The
Replacement Bearing Detail on Sheet 8006 Shows Bent 12. Please confirm that the
bearings at Bent 12 are to be replaced.
A2. Bent 12 Bearings shown on Sheet 8006 are to be replaced.
