Summary
The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time).
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for the provision of Traffic Model Fire Hydrants on an as-needed basis to Newport News Waterworks, in accordance with the specifications of this IFB. Fire hydrants must be products of approved manufacturers and models as indicated in the attached specifications.
