Description
The work to be completed under this contract includes the supply of all equipment, material and labour to place traffic paint on roadways under the jurisdiction of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality’s Central, East and North Public Works Divisions.
The work includes a Spring Painting application to be completed by June 15th and a Fall Painting application to be completed by October 31st.
The work is broken up into four pieces:
• Transverse Markings – TRAFFIC PAINT; includes all transverse painting to be applied using walk behind stripers, hand spray or stencil trucks utilizing traffic paint.
• Transverse Markings – THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS; includes the application of transverse markings using thermoplastic materials and the equipment capable of mixing, maintaining and applying the material at the recommended temperature.
• Longitudinal Markings – TRAFFIC PAINT; includes longitudinal line painting using traffic paint applied using an approved mobile application device (line painting truck).
• Longitudinal Markings – THERMOPLASTIC PAINT; includes longitudinal line painting using thermoplastic paint applied using an approved mobile application device (line painting truck).
