Description:

The City of Bristol Board of Education is seeking bids for repair of running track drainage and adjacent bituminous surface at Bristol Eastern High School, located at 632 King Street, per the specifications available via the document link noted below.

Bids will be accepted until December 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm by the City of Bristol Purchasing Department, with an office at 111 North Main Street, 3rd Floor, Bristol CT 06010. Proposals will be accepted via digital format by email, shared file service, or USB drive delivered to the address noted above. Responses received after the required due date and time will not be considered for award. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest.

Pursuant to Public Act 15-5, this contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals.

Neither a Performance Bond not a Labor & Materials (“Payment”) Bond are required for this project. No Bid Bond is required to be submitted with bid submission.

The contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
