Town of Wawota - Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades

Sealed Tenders are invited from Contractors for tor the Construction of the Sewage Pumping Station No. 1 Upgrades for the Town of Wawota. Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the Consulting Engineer up to 2:00 pm, C.S.T., Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 and will be opened immediately thereafter.

The work includes:

• Supply and installation of a standby generator and transfer switch to SPS No. 2, complete with a concrete base slab, electrical and control systems, utility servicing, site landscaping and clean up.
• Installation of a pre-packaged sewage pumping station to replace SPS No. 1, comprised of a fibreglass wet well, including temporary sewage handling, excavation, shoring and dewatering, crushed rock, concrete and foundation.
• Construction of a generator building, including supply and installation of a standby generator and transfer switch, complete with all mechanical and electrical installations.
• Installation of approx. 25 lin.m. of 200 mm dia. PVC gravity sewer main, including tie-in modifications to an existing manhole.
• Installation of approx. 15 lin.m. of 150 mm dia. PVC sewage force main, including tie-in to the existing main.
• Related earthwork, including placement and compaction of fill, common excavation, and site grading.
• Decommissioning of sewage puming station no. 1
• Clean up of site.
• Repair of defects for one year after completion of the work.

General Contractors may obtain a digital copy of the Contract Documents from the Office of the Consulting Engineer.

Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) fo the Tendered Amount.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
