Town of Norquay – Water Tower Replacement

The Town of Norquay is inviting qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the Water Tower Replacement Project. This infrastructure upgrade is aimed at improving potable water storage reliability, operational efficiency, and long-term service delivery for the community.

The scope of work includes:

Construction of a concrete foundation for a new standpipe (standpipe to be supplied and installed by others).
Installation of all associated process piping (HDPE and stainless steel), connections to the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and related civil works.
Electrical and control system upgrades, including float switches, strobe lighting, and reconnection of an existing mechanical mixer.
Commissioning of the new system, including flushing, pressure testing, and disinfection.
Optional removal and disposal of the existing steel standpipe and related components.

This project is being delivered under a CCDC 18 – Civil Works Contract and is partially funded by the Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP).

Pre-Bid Site Meeting:

A pre-bid site meeting will be held on May 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST at the project site.
Bidders interested in attending must RSVP by April 30, 2025, by emailing pintermain@pinter.ca with the subject line: “Norquay Water Tower Replacement Site Visit.”

Attendance at the site meeting is optional and not mandatory for bid submission. However, construction is expected to commence during the first week of June 2025.

Bid Documents:Electronic copies of the bid documents will be provided to qualified bidders. Two hard copies are available for pickup from PINTER’s Saskatoon office.

Final questions will be accepted until May 6, 2025, with the final addendum (if required) issued May 7, 2025.

The Town of Norquay reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to negotiate scope, or to cancel the tender at any time. Award will be made based on overall best value, as determined by the Owner.
