Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services

Grant: PIN 125045.00, Federal Project STP-M-9109(174); State Project 44LPLM-F2-135

Union Road Improvements

Farragut, Knox County

The Town of Farragut seeks professional services from a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to the construction of Union Road Improvements.

To accomplish these tasks, the Town will select one firm to be responsible for Construction Engineering and Inspection services.  These functions will include:

  • Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services in accordance with Tennessee Department of Transportation guidelines
  • Inspection for grading, paving, storm sewer, concrete curb & gutter, retaining walls and reinforced concrete box culvert
  • Bid review and Pre-Bid meeting participation
  • Utility Coordination
  • Documentation and management of the construction contract
  • Progress payment reviews
  • TDOT coordination
  • Materials Testing/Certification
  • Contract Closeout
  • Monitoring of subcontractors
  • Work zone safety monitoring

Estimated Schedule for Performance of Work

•              Estimated Construction Notice to Proceed June 2026

•              Estimated Construction Timeframe: 18 months

Interested firms should submit a qualifications-based proposal to The Town of Farragut, Procurement Division, Anissa Pratte, 11408 Municipal Center Dr., Farragut, TN  37934, by the due date found  on page 1 of this RFQ.
